My name is Luise Gleason and I am a 32 year old certified digital and print media designer, award-winning photo artist and passionate writer in both English and German. As a dual citizenship holder I am authorized to work in the United States of America and Europe.
Thanks to my experience in creating and maintaining websites, I became the website manager for Antiques And The Arts Weekly in July 2015. Besides updating and improving the website’s contents on a weekly basis, I also designed various graphics and promoted the newspaper’s online presence with online-marketing tools (Constant Contact, Google AdWords) and through several social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
In my volunteer position as the secretary for the Flagpole Photographers Camera Club, I wrote announcements and articles for local newspapers.
While traveling the world from July to January 2016, I worked as a digital nomad on Upwork.com and translated marketing and photography content from English to German.
Shortly after relocating to California in January 2017, I joined the team at Morrocco Method International as social media and affiliate marketing associate for six months where I was able to grow my digital marketing skills while learning about content and influencer marketing as well as refining my social media knowledge.
In January 2018 I joined the team at the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County where I continue to advocate for the hungry in our community to this day. 🙂
